I am not really one to come up with a New Year’s resolutions list simply because I realized early on that I don’t have the strength to make them happen. Besides, my spontaneous personality eventually learned that planning just don’t do it for me (BUT – drum roll please – I will be putting up a list for you, Juanderkids, in case you’re better at it).
I like to take things as they come. I seize the moment and the opportunity as they happen. Although my “aging” self has also taught me that planning a little bit does not really hurt, I believe that the most spontaneous things are sometimes the most rewarding of all.
There are people who understand that a greater force works in our lives and I am one of them. I have learned to develop goals but phrases like “in His time” and “by God’s grace” have also instilled in me a different sense of achieving my goals.
For this year, I hope to continuously enjoy the kind of peace, solitude and contentment that I now have in my life. I wish to keep on traveling to far seas and destinations so I can be able to inspire other people though my travels. And I aim to really take care of my health – I was on the heavier side in this photograph and I wish to change all that this year – not for aesthetic purposes, but so I can carry on discovering my passions and living my dreams. 🙂
Love and light, everyone. Go, juanderlust! 😀
