There is no doubt Hong Kong is a highly cosmopolitan city.
Before China took over in 1997, Hong Kong was a British Colony. Its rich history contributes to the West meets East atmosphere in Hong Kong, projecting the towering image of the country that used to own it, and creating drama that is as mysterious as the country that now owns it.
Its silhouette is arguably unparalleled anywhere else in Asia, but the wanderer in me wants to discover what lies behind its skyscrapers and the blinding lights. Beyond its cosmopolitan facade, what traditional secrets does Hong Kong keep?
